I’ve Had Enough Of This Childishness. I Came Here To Play Battleship!

I think it’s turning into an event of epic proportions every time I update this thing, because I always start out saying something to the effect of “omg, I updated!” which is inevitably followed by a comment from one of you kids saying “WOW! You updated! The world is surely ending!” Well, it’s a vicious cycle and it’s just started over. Have at it, boys and girls.
I guess it’s fair that I mention football here for a sec. I can express myself in three words: Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot. Or in other words, WTF?! I know it’s a bit outdated, but seeing how Terence and I were just discussing it a minute ago, if you’d asked me a month ago how to make a crapload of money, I’d have told you that I was going to open a cardiology office in downtown Clemson. I guess that’s still a fairly reasonable idea this month.
So… work. Grown-up stuff. I’m still working on the golf site. No shit. Every time that it gets close to being ready to launch, I get hit with a dozen new changes and things to add. I want to know how many thousands of lines of code I’ve written for the site, but I’m almost scared to look. I’ll do it, anyway, I’m sure, if for no other reason to compare it to the projects that are next in line: building a national JPG distribution center and oh, ya know, BUILDING EBAY. For serious. We’ll get into that in another update, though, since I’m sure that that will cause some headaches down the road.
Hmmm, what else? Ah, yes, Battlefield 2. BF1942 was great fun back in the day and BF2 is everything that BF1942 was and more. Chris and I play it at least once a week on the intarweb, laughing and yelling and swearing as we wax people. Good stuff.
I guess that’s really about it, actually. Maybe I’ll really try to keep my promise of updating more often. But I wouldn’t count on it.
